Selank is a synthetic anxiolytic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is a synthetic analogue of the endogenous immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin, with added stabilising C-terminal residues.
